纯电动汽车是广汽集团推出的首辆纯电动乘用概念样车。它由广汽汽研院与万向电动车公司联合开发，采用具有自主知识产权的纯电动动力总成系统，并配备先进的聚合物锂离子动力电池组模块。AEV概念车旨在验证"零排放、超低噪声"的环保要求和批量生产的诸多实用性、安全性要求，在结构轻量化的同时，满足常规与电动汽车的各种专业技术规范，是面向实际使用的技术验证原型车。
