虽然新一代的大众Golf/Rabbit车型依旧如同海市蜃楼一般遥远，但公司方面仍旧在不遗余力的为大伙描绘出一副美好的前景。不但升级版的GTI以及R系列都将会出现在大家的视线内，而且公司很有可能将会推出神奇的敞篷版车型，这却是让我们非常惊讶。
定位于新甲壳虫敞篷车以及Eos车型之间，敞篷版Golf将会披挂着从奥迪A3处借来的软顶敞篷盛装亮相，后者将会帮助大众节省相当部分的开发费用，有利于新车的市场竞争力。或许我们在2010年时便能见到她的模样了。
